I was born in South of Italy in 1974. I'm a visual artist and a photographer dealing with conceptual and oniric items. I' keen on psychoanalisys and psychiatry items, photographer, digital artist, journalist.

Luigi Starace, Luistar è nato a Manfredonia nel 1974. Comincia a scrivere nel 1993 poesie che poi saranno raccolte nel volume GIGAGEMBAM. Fotografo dal 1998, la stile visionario dei lavori gli fa attribuire dalla stampa la definizione di fotografo onirico.
Cercando di coniugare lettura psicologica ed estetismo Luigi applica una sorta di piazzamento psico - visivo ma al tempo stesso rimane fedele alla classicità formale: guardare le sue immagini è un po’ come volare con i piedi per terra. Dal 2006 collabora permanentemente con la Cattedra di Psichiatria dell’Università di Foggia.
Di lui si legge “Deux Ex Machina della parte PhotoArt, faro delle nostre aspirazioni artistiche, vulcanico creatore di manifesti, mail artista incoerentemente coerente, naturalmente matto da legare”.
